News: Mystic Henley 2008
2008 sees the second year of Mystic Henley, the game in which you can try and predict who will win at the Royal Regatta.

The system is simple - once entries are closed and the entry list has been published, you can choose who you think is going to win in each of the 19 HRR events.

These choices can continue to be changed as many times as you like, between the closing date for entries, and midnight on Thursday 3rd July 2008. So if your favourite crews drop out, or are beaten in qualifying or the early rounds, you can change them - up to a point.

From Friday 4th July onwards everyone's choices are frozen, and we then wait to see who will be the most successful tipster at HRR 2008.

The winner will receive a lavish prize from Regatta Radio. Last year's prize was a large hamper.

Welcome

Welcome to the new Mystic Henley web site, in conjunction with the Rowing Service and Regatta Radio. Who do you think is going to win Henley Royal Regatta 2007? Peer into your crystal ball, listen to the river gossip, and make some choices. Or pick a few crews at random - it's up to you. Enter your predictions as to who will win, and you could be sharing a hamper of food with your closest friends.

Entries for HRR 2007 closed at 1pm on Tuesday 19th June. The rules are simple - you must pick a winner in each category, but you can enter a different combination of winners as many times as you like. The Mystic Henley website will be frozen to new competition entries at 8pm on Thursday 5th July, by which time some of the first two rounds of races will already have happened. After that, no new entries may be made, and we will track how well the best guessers are doing, until the HRR finals on Sunday 8th July.

The Mystic Henley champion will be the person who picks the biggest number of HRR winners. If there is a tie the champion will be drawn out of a hat. The Mystic Henley champion will win a luxury food/wine hamper kindly provided by Regatta Radio, 106.0FM. Overseas entries will be accepted and are eligible to win the prize.

Important!

Due to withdrawals from HRR a number of users don't have a full set of picks. If your name is listed on this page please go to the "My Picks" page and select new crews to replace those which have withdrawn.
